Archive-Pro-Matic
Use Archive-Pro-Matic to display weekly, monthly, quarterly, seasonally, yearly, decade, postbypost and alpha archives that are filtered by post-type, single or multiple categories. Archives can be displayed in the sidebar using a widget, and on posts or pages using a simple shortcode.

I researched this plugin and determined it would do what I needed, to make monthly archive listings with simplicity. There is always a risk buying a plugin from an unknown source (which most are). These guys (and gals if there are any) are the real deal. Initially the plugin was not redirecting correctly. The folks at Twinpictures were in touch immediately after my email contact and gave me specific instruction to correct the problem. When that did not work, they took a look under the hood and determined I likely had a conflict with another plugin. As it turned out, they were right. The plugin now works marvelously. Although it was not their issue that it was not working, they were more than cordial and helpful, in a short matter of time, to help me through the dilemma. For the price, this couldn’t be beat. Thank you Twinpictures. Job well done. If I need to buy another plugin I am going to see if you have one first!
I bought the plug-in and thought, I could easily handle it myself – but that was far from realities. I know nothing about coding, and that was needed. I therefore asked for support and my God, they have worked the whole Sunday for me and have reached really good results. I was always part of the process and could test as “we” were going along. Tried all the plugins available in the market. However, this is the only plugin I found which does this job great – listing out by month, year wise and category also. No complex coding and all. Just a simple shortcode. Great support by the developers. Was looking for a special feature: compact block archives. They delivered an update in a day.
This is the best plugin which I came across for archives. Affordable and does the job well.
